About Iris
A planned closing starts on the day escrow opens
Iris Chae is Cal West Escrow’s Escrow Manager and Senior Escrow Officer. She handles residential and commercial escrows, from condos and single-family homes to apartment buildings, new construction, refinances and 1031 exchanges, and works directly with the agents, transaction coordinators, buyers and sellers on each file.
Her approach comes down to one line: “Success is a planned event.” She looks for the complications a file may bring on the day it opens, orders the items that usually hold up a closing in the first week, and explains each step so buyers and sellers know what comes next.
When she isn’t at the office, Iris is with her family and outdoors, enjoying what Los Angeles has to offer.
